One of the examples of a long-term type of support of our fight against corruption is legacy donation.
The Slovak legislation allows every citizen to decide who will be inheriting their property, and what will be included in this inheritance. It is possible for a non-profit organisation to inherit property based on a written legacy. Testamentary inheritance takes priority before statutory inheritance.
The donor can include Transparency in his or her legacy. The legacy can transfer both movable and immovable property, such as a house, a flat, works of art, author´s rights, insurance proceeds or money.
